So, do you all remember how I was saving up for a new, more powerful laptop so I could dostreams and what not?

Well, I ordered it, it arrived on Thursday, and I have to say that it is niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

It’s an ASUS TUF F15, has an Intel Core i7 GPU, 32 gigabites of RAM, two one-terabyte hard drives, and it runs like fucking butter. Most importantly, for me anyway, I can actually run a PlayStation 2 emulator on it, which I couldn’t on my old laptop. This is good, because my PlayStation 2 is currently on the way out and finding one that doesn’t cost ludicrous amounts of money and also works properly is very hard these days.

Most importantly, though, is that this one is actually powerful enough for me to record video game footage, edit videos, and do game livestreams. I think before I enter the streaming game, though, that I would like to try cutting my teeth doing gaming videos (or Let’s Plays). For that, I’m going to take some time to learn the ins and outs of some editing software I downloaded, so I’m probably going to start getting those out in October.

I have decided to start out with one of my favorites: Silent Hill. I decided on that one because it’s relatively short and because I’ve played it quite a few times, so I’m pretty familiar with it.

Also because it is spooky. And October is the spooky season.

So, yeah. I’ll keep you guys updated on all that.
