Short Story Time: “The Adventure of the German Student”

So, I was thinking about what to write about for Halloween. At first I was thinking “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” but I’ve ready that story and it’s actually kind of boring. And yes, this is going live on November 1. However I’m actually writing the post on Halloween and that’s when patrons are going to see it, so I’m still counting it.

A Cavalcade Of Frustrations

So, I was supposed to do a let’s play series of Silent Hill. Then I was having trouble getting the recording software I use to work with the emulator. Then I suffered an allergy attack that lasted waaaaaaaaaaaay too fucking long. Then my computer upgraded to Windows 11 and now I can’t really get any of my PSX emulators to work at all. Needless to say, plans have changed, since this is not something that I really want to deal with right now.

So here’s what’s going to happen instead: because I’ve had it a bit on the brain lately, what I’m actually going to do is a playthrough of the Mass Effect series. I’m downloading the Legendary Edition of the games as we speak, and will most likely begin recording it either later this evening or tomorrow evening after I am done with my normal job. I know that my recording software works with games that I have actually installed on my computer, so I’m really hoping that I won’t run into any more issues.

I am very tired.
